Placeholder: a first transmission

This is a placeholder post, here to prove the pipeline: this Markdown file becomes a page with the post layout, appears in the writings index, and rides the Atom feed. Replace it with a real first essay.

The pipeline it proves: write Markdown in src/writings/, and the build does the rest — no CMS, no platform, no database. The words live in the repository alongside everything else.
